4easy set-up, nice quality.  Jun 27, 2009
I have had this stuff for more than a year, never brings me any trouble. I basically slide the memory card in and turn it on, and it starts to show photos. Very smart product. The only down side is that the black frame is a bit too much.

2Kodak SV-710 hasn't the best resolution...  May 31, 2009
Save your money and buy a Digital Picture Frame with more resolution. Its worth the extra investment. This Kodak is ok for the money, but better resolution is the way to go..

1Poor Quality and the Worst Customer Service!  Mar 08, 2009
Maybe it just happened to me. But this frame broke down in 3 months, and the whole screen just went black and no pictures. So I contacted Kodak for customer service, but was told that since I bought it from Amazon, Kodak is not responsible for the product any more. So I argued that it IS a Kodak product, and still within the period for the 1 year warranty, Kodak should be responsible for it. So the Rep told me that she would transfer me to technical support. But guess what? She transferred me to an automatic system for self service, and I got nobody to talk to about the product. This is definitely the worst customer service I have ever had, and no to mention that I still could not believe a Kodak product would break down so fast. Overall, I would not give any stars for this product, for the frame didn't even function right, and more importantly, the customer service really killed my desire to buy any Kodak products.

2Ok, but lacks features  Jan 09, 2009
This frame overall is decent and has a good display but, ultimately, its the software controlling it that detracts from the overall package.

A few cons of it :
- Jpeg reader can not read all Jpeg types which means that some pictures (maybe 10% of the jpegs out there) get a "Picture can not be displayed" message instead of the image.
- There is no "random" function. Pictures display in date order. There's no way to adjust what order the pictures display in. A setting that allowed for Random, Date, Alphabetical, Forward/Backward would add tremendously to this product.
- There is no "Repeat" feature. This means when the frame hits the end of the images, it just locks up, and must be turned off and then turned back on to continue functioning. Even the auto-off feature does not turn this off once it has locked up, so it will stay on until you manually go cycle the power.

If it had the above features, which are standard features of the slideshow feature of nice programs such as AcDsee, then the frame would be perfect. As it stands, the product is incompletely developed.

5great  Dec 29, 2008
The product was how he said it was. I am amazed how fast it got here. I wife loved it.
